About Us

Welcome!

Our teachers will take loving care of your children from the age of 6 weeks and until they are ready for Kindergarten.  Experienced and warm teachers who model Christian values will adore your children, making sure their daily needs are met at each stage of childhood.

At the earlier stages, this means being aware of individual napping times and feeding tendencies, while also providing plenty of opportunities for cuddles, laughs, and exploration. Babies will be exposed to a variety of beautiful languages and cultures through music and books.  Parents, grandparents and family will be welcomed into the rooms to provide that home/school life connection, as well as allow children to learn about other family cultures.*

As your child grows, and social skills become more of a focus, our teachers will be there to model strong values, like caring and respect, to help your child reach the same end, resolving problems with other children in a Christ-like way.  A play-based curriculum will be formulated with the children’s current interests as a guide.  Learning centers for independent exploration as well as teacher-led activities will delight your children and stretch their minds!  Children will regularly interact with teachers and visitors from various backgrounds, broadening their understanding of the world and helping them appreciate the beautiful differences in each person*.

At all ages, children will learn about the love of Jesus through the many beautiful stories in the Bible, songs, and other activities.  Teachers will pray for and with your children, thanking their heavenly creator for their blessings and asking for help with their troubles.

* All programs that include visitors and volunteers are suspended due to Covid-19 until further notice. The Early Learning Division and CDC’s guidelines will be followed regarding this program.

Programs

We know how much you treasure your child.  Our staff will adore your children

and give them protective love and care.

Infant Program

Infants will receive attentive care tailored to their individual needs and personalities. Infants will be fed according to their feeding cues, and in accordance with family and/or doctor directives.  Your infant child will also be allowed to nap according to their own sleep-cycles.

Our staff takes sleep safety very seriously! Strict safety guidelines will be followed, and sleeping babies checked regularly by staff.

Our teachers are excited to play with your infant and provide them with enriching activities that encourage development.  Babies will be exposed to a variety of beautiful languages and cultures through music and books.

Toddler Program

Your child is getting bigger!  And boy, can they get around!  Teachers will provide your child with ample space and time for free movement, as well as games and activities that help them learn to use their bodies better.  Children will also be learning about loving and respecting other children, as well as the adults in their lives.

Your child will learn through the powerful process of play.  As teachers spend time with the children and learn about their interests, they will build a schedule of activities teaching everything from colors, shapes, and animals to strong character.

Circle-time, books, guided activities and music will provide exposure to structure and self-control, as well as culture, turn-taking, and appreciation for other people and cultures!

Pre-K Program

Your preschooler is really starting to express themselves and their preferences, as well as explore new concepts, like words and math concepts, friendship, and ways to be creative!

Our teachers will encourage your child to use their sense of wonder to explore and learn new things every day while being respectful and kind to others in the classroom.  Our holistic approach will focus on character building and education, as well as helping children recognize the beauty within them placed there intentionally by God.

During circle times and teacher-led activities, special attention will be given to Kindergarten readiness as intentional and knowledgeable teachers present and provide opportunities for your child to explore and practice literacy and early mathematical skills.

Preschoolers will be exposed to different cultures and traditions.  Music, books, and special visitors will guide your child into a better understanding of God’s multicultural world at large and right here in our community!

Preschoolers are given many opportunities to discover things on their own through open ended art projects, scientific experiments, dramatic play, gardening, and much more! Teachers will always be present to guide your child into a deeper understanding of new concepts, or to just share in the fun and magnify the learning opportunities!

Classes will have regular visitors, including family members, local heroes, puppeteers, and more!

Music and Movement

Music and movement is a wonderful way for children to experience the world as well as express themselves!  All classes will have daily music and movement time.  Teachers will lead the children in finger-plays and musical gross motor activities, as well as allowing the children to just enjoy the music and dance how they like.  Children will explore different genres of music, as well as music and instruments from around the world.

Sometimes the children will have special visitors, such as Miss Christen with her guitar, ukulele, and other instruments for the children to experience and explore!  They will learn new songs, enjoy old favorites!
